Ingredients
- 10 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese (onions & chives variety)
- 1 cup sour cream
- Butter and milk (to make creamy)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp or less garlic salt or garlic powder
Instructions
- Peel, boil, and mash the potatoes until smooth.
- While still hot, stir in the cream cheese and sour cream until fully incorporated.
- Add butter and milk a little at a time until the potatoes reach your desired creamy consistency.
- Mix in the baking powder and garlic salt (or garlic powder) to taste.
- Transfer to a buttered casserole dish and smooth the top.
- Bake at 350°F for 30–45 minutes, until heated through and lightly golden on top.
