This doubled-up version of Susan's brownies comes from the family recipe notebook — perfect for feeding a crowd straight off the sheet pan. Rich, chocolatey, and impossibly easy.
Ingredients
- 4 sticks (2 cups) butter
- 6 tbsp cocoa
- 8 eggs
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Melt butter and cocoa together. Let cool slightly.
- Beat in eggs.
- Add flour, salt, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Pour into a greased sheet pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
