Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 egg
Sauce
- 1 can pineapple (with juice)
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tsp ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 cup cold water
- Dash garlic powder
- Dash ginger powder
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the hamburger, bread crumbs, chopped onion, and egg. Form into small meatballs.
- Brown the meatballs in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden on all sides.
- In a separate bowl, combine pineapple (with juice), white vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, corn starch, cold water, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the browned meatballs.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring gently, until the sauce thickens and the meatballs are cooked through.
