Found scrawled on a card tucked inside the family recipe notebook, these hot BBQ wings are a set-it-and-forget-it kind of meal. The crock pot does all the work, and the honey and Tabasco give them just the right sweet heat.

Serves: 4–6
Cook: Crock pot, low for 5½ hours

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Toss the chicken wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
  3. Transfer everything to a crock pot.
  4. Cook on low for 5½ hours, until the wings are tender and the sauce is thick and sticky.
  5. Alternatively, you can skip the crock pot and bake them directly in the oven at 350°F, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
