Scribbled on the back of a card in the family recipe notebook, parts of this one were hard to read — but the waffles came out perfectly every time. Thin enough for crepes on the griddle or golden and crisp in the waffle iron.
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour (about 250g per cup)
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- Milk (enough for a thin batter)
- 3 tbsp melted butter (added last)
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt together.
- Add eggs and milk, stirring until smooth.
- Add melted butter last.
- Cook in a hot waffle iron or on a griddle for crepes.
